Three refined rooms with exceptional views over the Indian Ocean
Private lodge for 1 to 8 guestsReached only by boat
Your private hideaway by the sea
The lodge is yours
There is one booking at a time. Whoever is here has the whole place, which is why there are no other guests at breakfast, no one else on the terrace at six, and nobody to work around on the beach.
The staff come with it. A chef cooks in the house, a housekeeper looks after the rooms and the laundry, a gardener keeps the grounds, and a night guard is on the property. The lodge's boat and its sailor are available on request.
Inside
Built in the island’s own way
Hardwood floors, bamboo ceilings, plaster walls, shutters instead of glass, and mosquito nets over the beds.
The rooms
Three of them, sleeping eight
On the ground floor
Facing straight out to the water, with its own corner of the shared terrace and direct access to the beach.
Upstairs
A private terrace of more than 15 m² over the ocean, with loungers, and a desk inside.
Upstairs, the double room
A large private terrace over the Indian Ocean with loungers, armchairs and a hammock. Reached by the stairs.
Every room has its own bathroom and a separate WC, natural ventilation and a fan, storage, and a safe for passports. The ground-floor bathroom has a double basin.
The table
Two terraces on the ocean, and a short menu
Meals are served on two terraces facing straight out to the ocean, and in the tropical garden behind the house when there is too much wind.
The kitchen uses only fresh produce, local first and bought in short supply chains: fruit and vegetables from the market, the local catch, vanilla from Nosy Komba and honey from Nosy Be. Breakfast, half board or full board, settled when you book, along with any allergies or diets.
Included
What comes with the house
Kept for you
Sheets, towels and soap. Housekeeping every day, and your own laundry washed if you leave it in the basket.
On the water
Transparent kayaks and a paddle board at the lodge. The boat and its sailor on request. The swimming is straight off the beach in front.
Getting about
Airport transfers and chauffeur-driven excursions arranged. Every sea excursion leaves from the beach here.
Connected
Free unlimited Wi-Fi across the whole property.
Power and water
The lodge runs on solar with battery storage, and on spring water from the Lokobe reserve, with three thousand litres held back for the days the source stops.
Photo and film
You are welcome to film and photograph here, professional shoots included: tell us what you are planning when you write.
Before you come
- The lodge is reached by boat. There is no road to the door: our own boat brings you over from Hell-Ville, 30 minutes away.
- It is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. You arrive across the beach, and there are steps and slopes through the property.
- There are dogs on the property, worth knowing if anyone in the group is allergic or would rather not be around them.
- The power is solar, so please charge your devices during the day and switch off fans and lights in empty rooms. That keeps power going into the evening.
- Nosy Be is not a malaria zone, but bring mosquito spray.
